Havre Police Department

Michael Jay Stump Jr. of Havre, 19, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant Thursday at 11:56 a.m. on Fourth Street.

Josh Herrig of Havre, 21, was issued a summons on charges of partner or family member assault and assault with a weapon after a Third Street caller reported Thursday at 12:57 p.m that her boyfriend pulled a gun on her.

Marcus Truman Hoffman of Havre, 23, was arrested on a possession of dangerous drugs charge after a Seventh Street caller reported Thursday at 4:44 p.m. that she needed to report a domestic that happened between her and her boyfriend the night before and a Smithville Road caller reported a disturbance at 6:15 p.m.

Joshua Daniel Kaupang of Havre, 34, was issued a summons on a shoplifting charge after a First Street business caller reported Thursday at 8:07 that a man took a couple kickstarts.

Officers investigated a complaint after a Third Street West caller reported Thursday at 8:30 p.m. that a male needed to be removed.

Henry Webster of Box Elder, 54, was issued a summons on charges of driving without a driver’s license and failure to carry proof of insurance Thursday at 9:55 p.m near a First Street establishment.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated a complaint after a Northern Montana Hospital caller reported Thursday at 1:35 p.m. that there was a woman in the emergency room with a gunshot.

Raistlen Paul Katka of Great Falls, 25, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant Thursday at 4:25 p.m. at the Hill County Detention center.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Thursday.

Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning a female pomeranian, a female German shepherd, a female pit bull terrier, a male mix-breed dog and a female Labrador retriever.

The animal shelter held this morning two short-haired and two medium-haired cats.
