Local News - Information session on masters cohort set at Northern

Press release

A graduate program information session about the cohort for Master of Science, Education Instruction and Learning, is set for Thursday, May 18, at 7 p.m. at Montana State University-Northern’s Cowan Hall Room 107.

The session is being conducted to share information about the innovative offering of the Instruction and Learning Masters program online with residencies. The next cohort for the the program will begin fall 2017 and be completed spring 2019.

Courses will be delivered online with one face-to-face weekend residency — Saturday and Sunday — each fall and spring semester on the Northern campus. A face-to-face orientation session will also be held on campus in January, prior to the start of class. This cohort delivery model is designed to provide a personal, accessible graduate program for students interested in improving instruction in their respective learning environments.

Professor Curtis Smeby will be in attendance at the information session to meet with interested candidates. Financial aid information will also be available at the meeting. For more information, call the graduate programs office at 1-800-662-6132, ext. 3738, or Smeby at ext. 3517.
