Montana State University-Northern's Natalee Faupel recently completed one of the greatest careers in Northern women's basketball history.
And while Faupel graduated from Northern with honors on Saturday, her college basketball career is not over.
Faupel was recently given a graduate assitant position on the women's basketball staff at NCAA Division I Idaho State.
Faupel is set to join the program for the upcoming 2017-2018 season. Along with her coaching duties, the two time All-American and MSU-Northern's all-time scoring leader will begin working towards her master’s degree in athletic administration. ISU, located in Pocatello, Idaho, finished the 2016-2017 season with a 19-14 overall record and lost to Montana State University in the Big Sky Conference Championship game.
"This is a great opportunity for Natalee," MSU-N head coach Chris Mouat said. "She is jumping into a quality program and will be working under a very well-respected coach. We are all very excited for her amazing opportunity.”
