Brews for a Cure set for Saturday in Havre

People have a chance Saturday to have a few brews with friends while supporting a worthy cause — The Havre Women’s Golf Association’s 13th Annual Golfing for a Cure tournament.

For every pint purchased at Triple Dog Brewing Co. at 675 First St. W. in Havre from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Triple Dog will donate $1 to Golfing for a Cure.

The event includes raffles with a chance to win prizes.

All money raised will go to Golfing for a Cure’s effort to fight cancer across the Hi-Line.

The 18-hole tournament is set for June 3 at Prairie Farms Golf Course. Volunteers are continuing to raise funds, saying they hope to beat their 2016 fundraiser. The association raised more than $22,000 with the 2016 tournament.
