Officers investigated after a caller near Third Avenue and Seventh Street asked Wednesday at 8:50 a.m. to speak to an officer.

Officers investigated after a First Street caller reported Wednesday at 11:08 a.m. that she received a bag of food she never ordered.

Officers investigated a caller from Montana State University-Northern reported Wednesday at 11:16 p.m. that numerous vehicles were broken into.

Officers investigated after someone told police Wednesday at 1:22 p.m. that his vehicle was stolen.

——

Officers investigated after a Havre Middle School employee reported Wednesday at 1:47 p.m. that two student had fought in the lunchroom the previous day.

Officers investigated after a Fifth Street caller reported Wednesday at 3:49 p.m. that their aftermarket headlights were taken off their pickup.

——

Officers investigated a two-vehicle, no injury motor vehicle crash near a First Street caller made a report of it Wednesday at 4:49 p.m.

Officers investigated after someone reported Wednesday at 6:35 p.m. that their purse was stolen from their vehicle.

Daniel Jake Waldner of Havre, 33, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and revocation of suspended or deferred sentence after a caller traveling on First Street West reported Wednesday at 10:03 p.m. that there was a man in the middle of the street and cars were having to swerve around him.

Officers investigated a complaint after a Third Street caller reported this morning at 2:24 that the mother of his child came in and took the child.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated after a caller caller reported Wednesday at 10:25 a.m. that her daughter-in-law had cashed a $125 without her permission.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Thursday.

Fire crews responded to a call Wednesday at 3:22 p.m. where the pilot light of a residence had gone out and NorthWestern Energy needed to turn it back on. No further action was necessary.

Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning a female Labrador retriever,  a female German shepherd, a female pit bull terrier and a male mixed breed dog.

The animal shelter held this morning three short-haired and four medium-haired cats.
