Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a hit and run crash after a report was made Thursday at 1:35 p.m. by a Havre High School caller.

Officers investigated a complaint after a Third Street business caller reported Thursday  at 2:11 p.m. that they received a counterfeit $100 dollar bill.

Veronica Sue Skidmore of Havre, 44, was  arrested on charges of failure to carry proof of insurance and driving without a driver’s license and on a Justice or City court warrant  Thursday at 5:05 p.m. during a motor vehicle stop on Fourth Street.

Rochelle Lynn Jones of Hays, 29, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants Thursday at 6:27 p.m. near a 17th Avenue address.

Officers issued summonses to three juveniles after a caller reported Thursday at 8 p.m. that eight or nine kids went into Blue Pony stadium. A 16-year-old was issued a summons on charges of carrying a concealed weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia; a 17-year-old was issued a summons on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia; and a 16-year-old was issued a summons on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and probation violation.

Officers investigated an assault report after a First Street caller reported Thursday at 9:06 p.m. that a male may have been jumped.

Charlotte Ann Dyles of Havre, 43, was issued a summons on a charge of partner or family member assault after an 11th Street caller reported today at 2:59 a.m. a disturbance.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Melinda Dawn Erickson of Havre, 40, was arrested on charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and possession of drug paraphernalia and on a Justice or City court warrant after a Fifth Street North caller reported Thursday at 7:47 a.m. a disturbance.

Dakota Blackelk Houle of Box Elder, 21, was arrested on a state District Court warrant Thursday at 1:16 p.m. at the Hill County Detention Center.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Thursday.

Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning two female Labrador-border collie mix dogs , a female Labrador retriever, a female German shepherd, a male Labrador-pit bull terrier mix, a mixed breed dog and a female pit bull terrier.
