Burchard named CEO at Havre Day

The Board of Directors of Havre Day Activity Center has announced Michelle Burchard is the new CEO at the center.

Havre Day Activity Center began operations in 1974 and provides services to adults with developmental disabilities.

A Havre native, Burchard graduated from Montana State University-Northern in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in computer information systems and a minor business technology. She then went on to receive her Master of Business Administration from the University of Montana in 2009.

"I am excited for this new role as CEO," Burchard said. "I believe Havre Day Activity Center provides a valuable and needed asset

to our community. I am looking forward to growing these opportunities."

Prior to starting at Havre Day Activity Center,

Burchard served as the Director of Operations for Bear Paw Development Corp., accounting associate for Montana State University-Northern and manager of the TownHouse Inn of Havre.

Burchard resides in Havre with her husband, Travis, and their three children.
