Clement R. Hobbs, age 85, passed away at Northern Montana Hospital due to natural causes Monday, April 10, 2017.
Wake services began at noon today, Tuesday, April 11, 2017, and funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2017, all at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Rocky Boy.

Clement was born March 1, 1932, in Forth Belknap to Percy and Alice (White) Hobbs. He was raised in the Box Elder area, graduating from Box Elder High School. He worked at various jobs, including for Box Elder Schools and Hill County Electric; he was a "jack of all trades."
Enlisting in the U.S. Navy from 1951 to 1955, he served on the U.S.S. Boxer as an eElectrical repairman. He earned a Good Conduct Medal for national defense, China service, Korean service and United Nations.
In December of 1967 she married Jeanne Big Knife at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church.
Clement loved to fish, attend powwows and make porcupine headdresses for his grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jeanne Hobbs; parents, Percy and Alice Hobbs; grandson Everett Hobbs; and daughter-in-law Coretta Denny.
He is survived by his children, Susan (Donald) Whitehorse, Steve (Rachel) Hobbs, and John Hobbs; adopted children, Stephenie Hobbs, John (Tabitha Gopher) Hobbs Jr., and Leilani Whitehorse; nine grandchildren; six great-greatgrandchildren, all of Rocky Boy; sister, Ruth Houle of Polson; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Clement's family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Northern Montana Hospital, Northern Montana Care Center and the Rocky Boy EMTs.
