Jack Glatzer performs Monday in the final event in this year's Montana State University-Northern Chancellor's Lecture Series. With each draw of the bow on his violin a brush stroke formed on the canvas of sound, painting a scene for the Trail of Tears. Glatzer returned to Havre for the sixth year, performing Monday to the story of the forced march of the Cherokee Nation in a production titled "The Native American Journey: A Trail of Tears." Through his violin passion, the feeling of the traumatic march is portrayed with the use of sound. Glatzer also will be performing in Box Elder, Big Sandy and Rocky Boy. He said his love for coming to Havre is for the love that the people here have shown him over the past years.
