Havre Police Department

Jesse Shane Valdez of Havre, 21, was arrested on a partner or family member assault charge after a 15th Avenue caller made a domestic disturbance report Wednesday at 9:08 a.m.

Officers arrested two people after a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest business caller made a shoplifting report Wednesday at 11:20 a.m. Alfred C. Morsette of Box Elder, 29, was arrested on charges of shoplifting, driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license and obstructing a peace officer, as well as on a Justice or City court warrant. Aaron George Windyboy of Rocky Boy, 29, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants.

Officers assisted a citizen after a Smithville Road caller reported Wednesday at 1:14 p.m. that a 2-year-old boy was in the yard.

Raistlen Paul Katka of Great Falls, 25, was issued a summons on a partner or family member assault charge after a caller from HRDC reported Wednesday at 2:40 p.m. that she had a client who needed to speak to an officer.

Officers investigated a sex offense Wednesday at 4:26 p.m.

Officers investigated a theft report after a Second Street business caller reported Wednesday at 4:50 p.m. that a mirror had been stolen.

Michael Ray Ahenakew of Box Elder, 30, was arrested on charges of robbery and disorderly conduct and on a Justice or City court warrant after a First Street West caller reported Wednesday at 5:11 p.m. that a someone was sucker punched in the face and robbed.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

The sheriff’s office reported no investigations or arrests Wednesday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Wednesday.

Fire crews responded to a false alarm call Wednesday at 8:49 p.m. at the 800 Block of Fourth Street.

Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning two male shepherds, a female Bichon Frise, a female pomeranian-border collie mix, a female German shepherd, a pit bull-terrier mix, a male Labrador-pit bull terrier mix and Husky-shepherd male.
