Loretta Fredriksen passed away of natural causes March 21, 2017, in Great Falls, Montana.
Services will be held March 27 at 11 a.m. at St. Jude Thaddeus Church with luncheon to follow at the St. Jude Parish Center,.
Loretta was born July 17, 1938, in Havre, Montana, to Anna and Charlie Seidel. Loretta grew up and attended schools in the Havre area, graduating from Central High School in Havre.
Loretta met and fell in love with Alfred Fredriksen. Their marriage was blessed in 1993 in Havre. Together, they had two sons, Mike and Joe. Loretta and Alfred spent their married life in Havre. Loretta spent her days as a housewife and mother.
Loretta enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren when they were young and, most recently, a great-granddaughter. Loretta also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and visiting with everyone she met. She especially enjoyed her time spent with longtime friend Tim Maroney, going to the Care Center on Fridays with him to visit and attend church services. Loretta was a member of St. Jude Thaddeus Church, where she received her baptism and was a confirmed member.
Loretta is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred, and her two sons, Mike and Joe.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Bridget Cooper, Ryan Fredriksen and Carrie (Levi) Hawley, great-granddaughter, Juliann Tomaskie-Hawley, daughter-in-law Michelle Tomaskie and longtime close friend Tim Maroney, all of Havre. She is also survived by her close nephew Jerry Zorko of Havre along with many other nieces and nephews.
Memorials in Loretta's name may be made to St. Jude Thaddeus Church of Havre or to the donor's choice.
