HHS grapplers featured in Sports Illustrated

It was quite the wrestling season for Havre High seniors Parker Filius and Jase Stokes. And now, the duo of Blue Pony four-time state champions got some exciting recognition.

In last week’s issue of Sports Illustrated, Filius and Stokes were featured for their accomplishments in the Faces in the Crowd section of the famous magazine. It’s likely the first time a Havre High athlete has been in the Faces in the Crowd in SI in years, and now, two Blue Ponies have made it in.

Filius and Stokes were honored in SI for becoming only the second pair of teammates in Montana high school wrestling history to become four-time state champions on the same night, which happened last month in Billings.
