Taco John's helps reading with Crunch for a Cause

Plant A Seed … READ! is asking people to mark their calendars for March 16 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Taco John’s, 505 1st St. W., for the Crunch for a Cause.

Taco John’s is having a fundraiser to support Plant a Seed … READ! The proceeds from this fundraiser will go toward the Literacy Corner Program of Plant a Seed. Volunteers are developing literacy kits for child care providers to use with the children in their care.

Each kit will include one to two books with age-appropriate activities to include: language and literacy skills, pre-math and reasoning, and social/emotion skills.

People going inside or using the drive through can mention to the cashier Plant a Seed…READ! on March 16 from 5 to 7 p.m.

“Child care providers in Hill and Blaine counties thank you for supporting Taco John’s Crunch for a Cause for Plant a Seed…READ!,” a release said.
