Joining the wave of protest

Daines, like other Republicans around the country, has been subject to protesters complaining about votes in support of some President Donald Trump's policies and Cabinet nominees. Hundreds of protesters gathered at the Capital in Helena Tuesday to protest his votes and for not holding town hall meetings during the congressional recess, and dozens more protested Wednesday after he made a last-minute rescheduling of his Helena appearances.
