Park board sets special cabin lease meeting

The chairman of the Hill County Park Board has called a special meeting Feb. 22 to begin discussion and approval of the recommended lease requirements for Beaver Creek Park’s cabin lease sites, inviting the public to attend and comment at the meeting.

The meeting is set for 5:30 p.m. in the Timmons Room on the bottom floor of the Hill County Courthouse.

The park board intends to update the cabin lease. The board’s Rules and Regulations Committee worked on an updated version of the lease and will present their suggestions and proposed changes to the board.

The meeting will focus on the proposed changes, and a vote could be made on wording changes.

People will be able to obtain a copy of the proposed changes at the Hill County Commission office in the courthouse or online at bcpark.org.
