Video conference venue change

The weekly legislative video conference usually held in the Robins Administration Building Tuesdays at noon will be changing locations.

The Havre Area Chamber of Commerce hosts the videoconference which allows north-central Montana lawmakers to interact with members of the public by way of video during the legislative session.

An email from the Chamber Friday said Tuesday’s videoconference will be at Northern Montana Hospital in the First Floor Conference Room 1.

The email said that the Feb. 28 videoconference will be held at Triangle Communications on U.S. Highway 2 west of city limits.

No reason for the change of location was given in the email.

Lawmakers who take part in the conference as time permits include Reps. James O’ Hara. R-Fort Benton; Jacob Bachmeier, D-Havre; Jonathan Windy Boy, D-Box Elder and Casey Knudsen, R-Malta, as well as Sens. Frank Smith D-Poplar, Mike Lang, R-Malta; and Russ Tempel, R-Chester.
