Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a theft report after a First Street business caller made a report Thursday at 6:06 p.m.

Robert Henry Stump III of Rocky Boy, 30, was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault and on a Justice or City court warrant after a Third Street West caller reported Thursday at 10:51 p.m. that someone was in the hallway, crying and yelling.

Officers investigated a motor vehicle crash on Second Street after a report was made Thursday at 11:10 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Donald Lee Whitehorse of Box Elder, 49, was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license and possession of dangerous drugs today at 1:04 a.m. during a motor vehicle stop on U.S. Highway 87.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Thursday.

Fire crews responded to a call Thursday at 11:44 p.m. at the 10 Block of Ninth Avenue Northwest after a caller reported smelling gas. NorthWestern Energy also responded on the scene. No traces of gas were found and no further action needed to be taken.

Havre Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held Friday morning a black terrier mix, a tan and white Jack Russell terrier mix and a small red terrier mix.
