Havre High School announced that Trinnity Gobin was chosen as a January 2017 Student of the Month at the high school.
Trinnity's parents are Bobbie Jo Naber and Wesly Gobin. Her siblings are Brittany Moles, 23, and Corttney Gobin, 19.
Trinnity participates in band, double bass, bass guitar and percussion. Outside of Havre High School, Trinnity worked at the Gary & Leo's Fresh Foods bakery as a cake decorator. She enjoys listening to music, reading, and playing the bass.
Lindsey Ratliff nominated Trinnity because Trinnity is a great example of hard work, determination, maturity, and thoughtfulness, Ratiff said. She added that Trinnity is quiet in class but she "likes to serve others, help struggling classmates, as well as go above and beyond on every assignment." She has a quiet maturity and a determination that will be greatly missed when she graduates early in January from Havre High.
Future plans for Trinnity include attending the University of Montana.
Jase Stokes was nominated and chosen as Havre High's other January 2017 Student of the Month.
Jase is the son of Phil and Eva Stokes and Angie Stokes. His siblings are Casey, 23, Taylor, 21, Tyler, 17, Brynn, 12 and Bailey, 12.
As a senior at Havre High School, Jase participates in wrestling and football. Outside of school, Jase enjoys hunting, fishing and hanging out with friends.
Colleen Patera nominated Jase for being an excellent role model for Havre High Students. Jase is very courteous at school, helps students and faculty during lunch in the cafeteria and is an inspiration to his teammates and classmates, she said, adding that Jase goes out of his way to help others and is respectful to those around him.
Jase would like to play football for Montana Tech of the University of Montana in Butte and study construction management.
