The following cases were resolved by Havre City Judge Virginia Seigel in October.

Celisia Leeann Eagleman, born in 1991, was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 175 days suspended and five credited, for false reports to law enforcement. In a later case Eagleman was fined $185 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for social host.

Chelsey Leigh Buck, born in 1988, was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for endangering the welfare of a child, first violation, and was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended and two credited, for criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. In a later case, Buck was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended for obstructing a peace officer or other public servant.

A boy born in 1999 was fined $100 for minor in possession, under age 18, first offense. In a later case, the boy was fined $1,000 for fleeing or eluding a peace officer; was fined $200 for reckless driving, first offense; and was fined $500 for driving without a valid driver’s license. In a subsequent case, the boy was fined $300 for MIP, under 18, third offense. In a fourth case, the boy was fined $300 for MIP, under 18, third offense. In a fifth case, the boy was fined $300 for a third count of MIP, under 18, third offense.

Jeffery Scott Lipp, born in 1967, was given a deferred imposition of sentence, fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 176 days suspended and four credited, for criminal possession of marijuana, first offense, and was given a deferred imposition of sentence, fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Carissa Audrean Bushard, born in 1986, was fined $100 for operating a vehicle with expired registration; was fined $350 for owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, second offense; and was ordered to pay $500 restitution on the case.

Cary Michael Welch, born in 1992, was fined $650 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for operating a vehicle with .08 percent blood alcohol concentration or greater, first offense, amended from driving under the influence, first offense.

Joseph Kelsey Johnson, born in 1988, was given a deferred imposition of sentence, fined $100 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, 29 days suspended and one credited, for carrying a concealed weapon.

Sahri Mae Bell, born in 1986, was fined $100 for driving without a valid driver’s license and was fined $300 for operating a vehicle without liability insurance, first offense.

A girl born in 2000 was fined $500 for driving without a valid driver’s license. In a later case, the girl was fined $500 for violation in use of learner’s permit. In a subsequent case, the girl was fined $1,000 for DUI, any dangerous drugs, first offense; was fined $100 for each of two charges: careless driving and failing to have lamps lighted when required; and was find $500 for violation in use of learner’s permit.

James Jay Allison, born in 1997, was fined $550 for operating a vehicle with .02 percent BAC, under age 21, first offense, amended from DUI, first offense, and was fined $500 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 177 days suspended and three credited, for driving without a valid driver’s license.

Rochelle Lynn Cooper, born in 1968, was fined $100, ordered to pay $100 restitution and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 180 days suspended, for endangering the welfare of a child, first violation.

Alexander Kane Pinson, born in 1995, was given a deferred imposition of sentence, fined $100 and sentenced to 120 days in jail, 118 days suspended and two credited, for assault.

In October, Judge Seigel also dealt with 50 tickets resulting in fines of less than $100 or jail sentences of fewer than seven days, as well as 30 charges that were dismissed by her or the prosecution. Seven citations were deferred by the prosecution and one was voided by the ticketing agency.
