In Gary & Leo's Hometown Hunger Food Drive, people make a donation along with their purchases at the grocery store with the donation used to buy food for the Havre Food Bank and other causes like the soup kitchen. This year, people donated $8,755 that purchased 274 pounds of food.

Gary & Leo's Fresh Foods Assistant Manager Brenda Friede muscles out a cart full of canned soup as Gary & Leo's cashier Jessica Cox loads food that was raised through the store's annual food drive into a truck for delivery. Gary & Leo's has been donating food to the Havre Food Bank and community progams for the past 17 years.

Sam Snyder of District 4 Human Resources Development Council carries food Tuesday from Gary & Leo's Fresh Foods to take to local organizations like the Havre Food Bank.
