Amber Evelyn Lawrence of Harlem, 31, was arrested on charges of assault with a weapon, two counts, partner or family member assault and assault and three Justice or City court warrants, after an 11:29 p.m. Tuesday report from 13th Avenue that the caller’s girlfriend’s sister had stabbed a man in the arm and had broken a bottle over his head. Police and EMTs were dispatched to the scene.

Havre Fire Department
Emergency medical personnel responded to eight calls Tuesday and three calls today.

Fire crews responded to the 600 Block of 14th Avenue after water dripping on electrical wires shorted a circuit to a furnace. They shut off the power, and NorthWestern Energy personnel repaired the problem.
