The Havre-Hill County Library’s annual Winter Reading Series begins this month. All discussions are free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
Jan. 19: “Lentil Underground,” by Liz Carlisle. Discussion led by Anna Jones-Crabtree and Jody Manuel.
Feb. 2: “The Underground Railroad,” by Colson Whitehead. Discussion led by John Ita.
Feb. 16: “City of Ember: The Graphic Novel,” by Dallas Middaugh and Nicklas Asker, based on the novel by Jeanne Duprau. Discussion led by Will Rawn.
March 2: Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers by Mary Roach. Discussion led by Suzanne Huston and Madisen McIntosh.
All discussions will be Thursday evenings at 7 p.m.
The Friends of the Library Valentine’s Day Pie Social will be Tuesday, February 14 from noon to 4 p.m. Get a piece of pie and a cup of coffee for $3.
