Officers investigated a theft report after a Ninth Avenue Northwest caller said Thursday at 9:33 a.m. that her cellphone was stolen.

Jeffrey Duane Jones of Havre, 24, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants and a state District Court warrant Thursday at 11:42 a.m. on Second Street.

Jason Skidmore of Havre, 33, was arrested on an assault charge after a First Street business reported Thursday at 8:21 p.m. that a man had been assaulted.

Havre Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held Thursday morning a black and white feral cat, a black cat, a calico female cat, an orange male kitten, a gray and white male kitten, a tiger-striped male kitten, two gray and white cats and a long-haired, tiger-striped cat.
