Fire crews responded to a fire call Friday at 2:53 p.m. on the 9800 Block of U.S. Highway 2 Northwest after the support beams in a shed containing a well water pump had caught on fire. The fire was contained and the structure incurred minimal damage.

Fire crews responded to a fire call Friday at 5:55 p.m. on the 100 Block of 34th Avenue West, where a ceiling sprinkler head broke. The valve was shut off as the sprinkler head was repaired and put back in function.
