Buses will stop for holidays

North Central Montana Transit has announced that its buses will not run Monday, Dec. 26, or Monday, Jan. 2, in observance of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.

Buses will resume their normal schedules Tuesday of each week.

Cape Air holds Montana food and toy drive at all airports

BILLINGS — Cape Air, Montana’s Essential Air Service carrier, is holding a food and toy drive at all of its airports across Montana.

Cape Air will be accepting canned goods, dry goods and toys through Wednesday, Dec. 21. People can bring a nonperishable food item or unwrapped gift to any of the following airports and be entered to win two round-trip tickets on Cape Air. All items will be donated to local food banks and charities.

• Havre City-County Airport — Havre

• Billings Logan International Airport — Billings

• Sidney-Richland Airport- Sidney

• Dawson Community Airport — Glendive

• Glasgow Valley County Airport — Glasgow

• L.M Clayton Airport — Wolf Point

“Now more than ever, we need to work together to strengthen and build our communities by helping those in need,” said Linda Markham, president of Cape Air. “Our goal is to make the holidays brighter for as many families as we can in the communities that we live in and serve.”
