Keith Anthony Standing Rock, 56, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016, at his home in Missoula, Montana, after a two-year battle with cancer. His wake service began Wednesday afternoon and continue until the funeral service 10 a.m. today, Friday, Dec. 9, all at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Rocky Boy. Tribal Elders officiated. His burial followed at the Rocky Boy Cemetery. His memorial feast will be held at noon Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church.

Keith was born Aug. 13, 1960, in Havre, Montana to Duncan and Victoria (Delorme) Standing Rock Sr. He was raised and educated in Rocky Boy. He attended college and was trained in the auto mechanic field. He could fix everything and anything and was talented in his field.
Keith loved his family and came home to visit whenever he could. He was very "Witty" He enjoyed collecting the collectible cars, unique rocks and his PUMA shoes. He loved to go camping, Alley Shopping, out to play the machines and, most of all, turning wrenches.
He met Leslie Shea in Missoula and they have been together for eight years. They were best friends and life partners who did everything together.
He was preceded in death by his mother Victoria, two siblings: brother, Roger Standing Rock, and younger sister, Maureen Standing Rock.
Keith is survived by his wife, Leslie Shea of Missoula, Montana; his father, Duncan Standing Rock Sr. of Rocky Boy, Montana., his children, Tonya, Evan (Becca Conn), Chad (Chandel Barnaby), Keithy Standing Rock and Thayne Wolf Child, siblings Norma Oats, Elsie, Duncan Jr. (Jeanie), Valerie, Vickie, Barbara (Pete Sutherland), Trent (Jessica), Brent and Nicole Standing Rock, 15 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews
