Havre student makes All-Northwest choir

Havre High School senior Randi Ruhkamp has been named to a regional choir, a release from the Northwest Division of National Association for Music Educators announced.

Ruhkamp will perform as an Alto 2 in the All-Northwest Treble Choir when students from National Association for Music Educators students from bands, orchestras and choirs meet in Bellevue, Washington, Feb. 16-19 to rehearse and perform in concert under the direction of world-renowned conductors.

The musicians were selected from more than 4,600 students from Montana, Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming who were nominated and auditioned to participate in the Northwest Division Conference.

The event is managed by the Washington Music Educators Association.
