Community Orchestra slates Thursday extravaganza

The Montana State University-Northern Community Orchestra presents a Holiday Extravaganza Thursday, Dec. 1, at 7 p.m. at the Havre High School auditorium.  

Holiday songs from “The Nutcracker Suite,” “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers,” “Polar Express,” Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Mannheim Steamroller and the Canadian Brass will be featured.  

The orchestra will be joined by two local dance studios,  the Montana Academy of Dance and the Studio of Dance and Arts, for a live collaboration of winter theme music and dance.  

The concert is free and refreshments will be served.
