The fall, so far, has given relatively balmy weather after some early snowstorms in October. A storm predicted to dump 5 inches to 7 inches of snow in north-central Montana last week instead pushed off to the east, with Great Falls receiving some measurable snow but the Havre area receiving just a few skiffs. The forecast for the Havre area continues to be for mild weather, with no precipitation in the next few days. The Havre National Weather Service recording station at the City-County Airport recorded at 6 a.m. today a 24-hour high of 55 and a low of 29 with no precipitation. The forecast through Monday calls for highs in the 40s, with 39 the forecast high for Sunday, with lows in the upper 20s to low 30s and no precipitation expected early in the week. A slight chance of snow showers is in the forecast Sunday through Monday.
