Officers investigated a theft report after a 12th Avenue caller reported Wednesday at 6:42 a.m. that her boyfriend’s mountain bicycle was stolen.

Officers investigated a motor vehicle crash after a caller at a First Street West business reported Wednesday at 7:25 a.m. that a silver 2012 Ford Fusion was damaged during a hit-and-run.

Officers investigated a theft report after a Second Street business caller reported Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. that a theft had occurred.

Jobe Jacob Barrows of Havre, 18, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a First Street West business caller reported Wednesday at 9:53 a.m. a domestic disturbance.

Officers investigated a motor vehicle crash after a caller on 15th Street West reported Wednesday at 2:56 p.m. that he backed into an electrical box.

Officers assisted a citizen after a Fifth Street caller asked to speak to an officer Wednesday at 5:18 p.m.

Officers assisted a citizen after a 12th Street caller requested a civil standby Wednesday at 6:17 p.m.

A 13-year-old was issued a summons on a partner of family member assault after a Lincoln Avenue caller reported Wednesday at 6:26 p.m. that her son was causing a disturbance.

Rebecca McConnell of Havre, 22, was arrested on two Justice or City Court warrants and charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license, driving with an expired registration, failure to produce proof of insurance and two counts of violation of child restraints Wednesday at 9:41 p.m. on First Street.

Melanie Jean Bergren of Havre, 43, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after an anonymous caller at a First Street establishment reported Wednesday at 11:02 p.m. a woman with a warrant was at the business.

Aleisha Morningstar The Boy of Havre, 25, was arrested on charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and violation of conditions release this morning at 3:56 near 12th Avenue.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies assisted city officers Wednesday at 9:55 a.m. at a First Street West business.

Melanie Jean Bergren of Havre, 43, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and drug or narcotic violations Wednesday at 11:48 p.m. at the Hill County Detention Center.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Wednesday.

Fire crews responded to a call Wednesday at 8:45 p.m. on the 1300 Block of Jefferson Avenue, where a gas odor was reported. Detection instruments showed no gas in the area and no further action was necessary.

Havre Animal Shelter

Havre Daily did not receive a list of the animals this morning but the animal shelter held Wednesday morning  a brown female weimaraner-pit bull mix, a black and brown shepherd mix, a brown pitbull mix, a black  pitbull mix, a tan pit bull-Labrador mix, a brown terrier puppy and a white and black hound.

The animal shelter held Wednesday morning a tiger-striped gray cat, a 10-week-old orange kitten, two gray and brown 10-week-old kittens, a black and white 1-year-old cat, a gray adult tom cat, two black adult cats, a gray tiger-striped cat and a tiger-striped kitten.
