Tim Scheele drops off his ballot at the polls at Havre High School Tuesday as his son Kord watches and son Kace talks to his mother, Laura Scheele. The Scheeles voted on their way to drop Kord and Kace off at preschool. Kord and Kace asked their parents what voting was while at the polls.

People vote this morning at Havre High School. Voters are having their say for elected officials today, with people going to the polls starting at 5 a.m. Mountain Time on the East Coast and most polls opening in Montana at 7 a.m. Polls remain open until 8 p.m. Mountain Time in Montana. People who had not registered to vote still can register and vote or vote a provisional ballot between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. at the Clerk and Recorder's Office in the county courthouse.
