Stiffarm leadership summit fundraiser set for Saturday

A fundraiser to help Bryan Stiffarm attend an educational leadership conference at a top American college will be Saturday at the Havre Eagles Club.

An Indian taco sale with raffles is set to run from 2 to 5 p.m.

The fundraiser to help pay for Stiffarm’s trip to Harvard University in Cambridge, Masschusetts, for Ambassador Leadership Summit at the university.

‘Roll into Reading’ set Friday at Lincoln-McKinley

Lincoln-McKinley Primary School is holding a “Roll into Reading” Family Fun morning Friday, Nov. 11, from 7:30 to 8:15 a.m.

Parents, guardians and students' families are invited to come in and have cinnamon rolls, juice and coffee with their child, then go into the library or gym for reading time.

People are invited to “come one, come all for a morning of family fun” to start their day.

Transit buses stop for Veterans Day

North Central Montana Transit buses will not run Friday, Nov. 11, in observance of Veterans Day.

The buses will resume their regular schedules Monday.
