Your destiny is never in your comfort zone

Editor,

Step out and do something for yourself and our people.

American Indian reservations contribute just under one billion dollars per year to the economy of the state of Montana. I want to keep a large portion of that money home on the reservations by creating our own businesses. When those businesses then buy from each other and turn that dollar over several times in our communities, this is true economic development and independent tribal sovereignty.

What is the one small or big business dream you always wanted to become a reality? A bed and bannock, a bakery, a frybread stand, a laundromat, a gated storage place, a barber shop, an auto parts store, a food cooperative, a thrift store, a dollar store, landscaping, security patrol and surveillance, computer repair, small engine repair, building log homes — we have the lumber in our mountains — a deli restaurant, a coffee and doughnut shop, etc. This is my vision. What’s yours?

Vote Meyers for Senate District 16 Nov. 8, 2016. Keep the vision.

Rep. G. Bruce Meyers, R-Box Elder
