News you can use
Editor,
It really is all about The Donald. When he walked into the dressing room of the 1997 Miss Teen USA beauty pageant, where some of the contestants were naked, he said, “Don’t worry, ladies, I’ve seen it all before.” The possibility that the young women, some of them only 15, might not want to show him anything, apparently didn’t occur to him.
As he explained to Howard Stern, “I’m allowed to go in because I’m the owner of the pageant and therefore I’m inspecting it.” His awesomeness, in other words, entitles him to see anything he wants.
If Donald Trump becomes president, he will have control over the CIA, the FBI, the NSA and the IRS. Given his history with teenage beauty queens, you can be sure that the rest of us will be showing him everything, too.
In this and so many other ways, Donald Trump has proven himself utterly unfit to be president, but the only problem Ryan Zinke and Greg Gianforte have with him is his language. His words offend them, but his policies, they’re just fine with those. Despite the racism, the sexism, the willingness to use torture, the commitment to ban Muslims, and the insane proposal to build a wall along the Mexican border, they still are endorsing him.
Both of them need to be grabbed by the ballot on Nov. 8 and thrown out of office.
