Last day for submissions to Art Association Show and Sale

It’s time for the 45th Annual Havre Art Association Show and Sale to be held at the Van Orsdel Methodist Church, at 410 Fifth Avenue, Saturday, Nov. 5, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 6, noon to 5 p.m.

This year, Art Association members said, they are very pleased to announce that the Special Guest Artist is Leith DeWeese, watercolor artist from Saint Marie.

DeWeese has taught art and mathematics and has encouraged art education in the schools and assisted many artists achieve their career goals. She will be featured up front in a large display area with her work and will be speaking there for an hour each day starting at 2 p.m. about her work, art journey and technique in front of her artwork.

Artists who would like to participate in the show, need to get their netry forms submitted by today. The forms are available at Artitudes Gallery in the Atrium or by contacting Becky Ross 265-4723 or Marie Toldness 265-4417.
