Rocky Boy High School seniors shake hands with Rocky Boy Junior High School seventh-graders Wednesday after the seventh-graders receive their Montana Behavioral Initiative bronze medals. The schools awarded medals to their students for achieving the bronze level in the program, which recognizes schools for implementing programs to build positive behavior at the schools. At the ceremony, Dean of Students Tyran Watson and Principal Deborah Lamere handed out medals to all students seventh- through 12th-grade and physical education teacher Laurissa St. Pierre handed out flower bouquets. Rocky Boy schools MBI co-facilitator Carrie Gopher and school counselor and MBI co-facilitator Kristeny Lorett were masters of ceremony at the event. Chippewa Cree Business Committee member Teddy Russette III spoke to the students about excellence during the presentation.
