William P. "Boy Boy" LaMere, 62, passed away due to natural causes at his Great Falls residence on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016.
Wake services began at 4 p.m., and the Rosary was said at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17, 2016, all at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today, Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016, also at St. Mary's, with Father Pete Guthneck officiating. Burial will follow in the Rocky Boy Cemetery.

Boy Boy was born Aug. 15, 1954, in Great Falls, Montana, to William and Virginia (Mitchell) LaMere. He was raised in Great Falls and Rocky Boy. Following his school years, Boy Boy worked several jobs over the years, including roofing, firefighting and helping his dad with farm work.
He enjoyed watching sports and old westerns, talking on the phone and playing pool. Boy Boy was very social and loved to visit with his friends and family. His children were very important to him, including his four-footed son, Smudge. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of his life.
Boy Boy was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene (Running Rabbit) LaMere; his parents, William and Virginia LaMere; his stepdaughter Rebekah Canuto; his granddaughter, Montyana LaMere; his great-granddaughter, Tiana LaMere; his brothers, Ronald and James Cleland; and his sister, Mary Taylor.
He is survived by his children, Tiffany LaMere of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Randy (Vanessa) Finley of Ronan, Kayla (Cody McCabe) LaMere of Lodge Pole, and Renee Running Rabbit of Ronan; his 12 grandchildren; his two great-grandsons; his five sisters, Eleanor Skinner of Havre, Joann Ahenakew and Wilma (Corky) Corcoran, all of Rocky Boy, Kay (Jimmy) Finley of Arlee and Virgelene (Joe) Raya of Great Falls; his four brothers, Francis (Jackie) Cleland of Butte, Ricky Cleland of Billings, and Daniel and David LaMere, both of Rocky Boy; and numerous beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
