The following cases were resolved in Hill County Justice Court by Judge Audrey Barger Aug. 9-16.

Robert James Cantrell, born in 1974, was sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days credited, for disorderly conduct and was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 159 days suspended and 11 credited, for criminal trespass to property. Chance Jonathan Koke, born in 1992, was fined $600 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended and two credited, for operating a vehicle with .08 percent blood alcohol concentration or greater, first offense, amended from driving under the influence, first offense.

Erica Ann Dion, born in 1982, was ordered to pay $39.88 restitution and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 125 days credited, for theft, obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over property, second offense.

George Timothy Healy, born in 1961, was sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for each of two counts of theft, obtaining control over property, first offense, and was ordered to pay $268.60 restitution on the case. In a later case, Healy was sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for each of two counts of theft, obtaining control over stolen property, first offense, and was ordered to pay$268.60 restitution on the citations.

Lejonna Lynnette Tsosie, born in 1992, was fined $100, ordered to pay $70 restitution and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for theft, obtaining control over stolen property, first offense.

Clayton Gary Bailey, born in 1971, was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 176 days suspended and two credited, for driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked.

David Robert Healy Jr., born in 1990, was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $400 for criminal possession of marijuana, first offense.

Chet Travis Shrauger, born in 1994, was fined $1,000 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended, for aggravated DUI, first offense.

Brandon Velasquez, born in 1995, was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 52 days credited, for assault with bodily fluid.

Judy Grace Salas, born in 1962, was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended, for driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked.

Douglas J. Miller, born in 1998, was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $200 for criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. In a later case, Miller was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $250 for criminal possession of marijuana, first offense.

Alexandar Gene Morton, born in 1995, was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $200 for criminal possession of drug paraphernalia and given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $250 for criminal possession of marijuana, first offense.

Darin Daniel Summerlin, born in 1986, was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $200 for criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. In a later case, Miller was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $250 for criminal possession of marijuana, first offense.

Avis Katherine Renault, born in 1964, was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $100 for driving without a valid driver’s license and fined $250 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for operating a vehicle without liability insurance, first offense.

Rose Mary Lamere, born in 1993, was fined $250 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense, and was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $200 for driving without a valid driver’s license, has never possessed one.

Paul Wurz, born in 1996, forfeited $200 bond for operating a commercial vehicle without a commercial driver’s license, first offense.

Judge Barger also dealt with nine tickets resulting in fines of less than $100 or jail sentences of fewer than seven days, and she or the prosecution dismissed 12 charges. Barger held two probable cause hearings for cases out of her jurisdiction. Additionally, one suspended sentences or deferred impositions of sentencing was revoked and reinstated and one was voided by the ticketing agency.

Alfred James Chandler, born in 1959, was fined $100 was sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for each of two charges: criminal possession of marijuana, first offense, and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.

Stephen Eric Engelhardt, born in 1982, was fined $415 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 171 days suspended and nine credited, for obstructing a peace officer or other public servant.

Donald Keith Cochran, born in 1965, was fined $250 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for operating a vehicle without liability insurance, first offense. In a later case, Cochran was fined $50 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 174 days suspended, for driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. In a subsequent case, Cochran was fined $600 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 176 days suspended and two credited, for driving under the influence, first offense, and was fined $50 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for obstructing a peace officer or other public servant.

Shepard, born in 1987, was fined $200, forfeited $870 bond, and was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 174 days suspended and four credited, for driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. In a later case, Shepard was ordered to pay $100 restitution and forfeited $585 bond for criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jasmine Runningrabbit, born in 1997, was fined $200 for minor in possession, over age 18, first offense.

A girl born in 1999 was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $200 for driving without a valid driver’s license, has never possessed one.

Thomas Paul McCabe, born in 1980, was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $100 for criminal possession of marijuana, first offense.

Sunny Michelle Charlo, born in 1980, was fined $500 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended and two credited, for operating a vehicle without liability insurance, third or subsequent offense, and fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended and two credited, for driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked.

Natasha Marie Meier, born in 1991, was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $100 for each of two charges: criminal possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal possession of marijuana, first offense.

Judge Barger also dealt with 22 tickets resulting in fines of less than $100 or jail sentences of fewer than seven days, and she or the prosecution dismissed two charges. Barger transferred 19 citations to another court, issued five search warrants and held five probable cause hearings for cases out of her jurisdiction. Additionally, three suspended sentences or deferred impositions of sentencing were revoked and reinstated, two citations were voided by the ticketing agency and two probation and parole violations went before the judge.
