HHS students raising money for European music trip

A group of Havre High School music students are holding a fundraiser Wednesday courtesy of Havre’s Domino’s Pizza to help them perform in Europe next summer.

Domino’s will donate 20 percent of proceeds of all of its sales from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. toward the students’ traveling on the Northern Ambassadors of Music European Tour.

Michelle Rainey will play the flute and oboe during the trip, with Emily Borst, Randi Ruhkamp, Lela Phillips, Jenna Meldrum and Laura Vance performing in the concert choir.

Northern Ambassadors is a group of singers and musicians from Montana and North Dakota nominated by their band and choir directors. The program is coordinated by North Dakota State University Director of Bands Warren Olfert.

The program runs every other year.
