A very sincere thank-you is being sent out to all of the people who have helped in setting up the election voting booths over the past 25-plus years. This has been greatly appreciated. Help will no longer be needed as there has been a change in the voting booths, so our dedicated workers will no longer need to assist the election department. Again, they couldn’t have done so well without your help and want you to realize how much you’ve been appreciated.

Telephone scams are on the rise in the area again. Remember, do not give out any personal information over the phone when someone calls you.

Monday — Transportation 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; painting at 1 p.m.; coloring group at 1 p.m.

Tuesday — Transportation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Bingo at 1:15 p.m.

Wednesday — Transportation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; TOPS at 8 a.m.; cards at 1 p.m.

Thursday — Transportation is available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; cards at 1 p.m.; Kmart/Walmart shopping from 1 to 4 p.m.

Friday — Medical transportation is available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. but people must make a request at least 24 hours in advance.

Wednesday — Swiss steak with onions, tomatoes with peppers, green beans, pudding, milk

Thursday — Pepperoni pizza bake, bread sticks, salad, oatmeal chocolate chip bars

Friday — Soup, salad bar, chef’s choice, dessert, milk
