Charter Havre retail space closing

A sign posted on the  door of the Charter Communications retail location in Havre this morning said that the location will be permanently closing.

The sign said the retail spot will close Oct. 28, and that the nearest payment center where customers can obtain retail services is in Great Falls.

Bret Picciolo, a Charter Communications spokesman for the Northwest region, said this morning that he could  not confirm that it was closing and that he would provide additional information as it became available.

Picciolo said television, internet and telephone service in the area would not be affected.

A customer service representative at the Havre location declined to comment this morning on the closing.
