Triangle Communications and HCE earn Governor's Safety Award

Triangle Communications and Hill County Electric Cooperative recently were awarded jointly one of three 2016 Governor's Safety Achievement Awards.

This award recognizes employers in Montana for safety excellence and leadership. 

Todd Solomon, Triangle and HCE's safety andloss control specialist, accepted the award on behalf of Triangle and HCE at Safety Fest MT in Bozeman.

When accepting the award from Lt. Gov. Mike Cooney, Solomon said, "Safety is not only a priority, it is a core value for our companies. Our employees think about safety every day."

  Triangle and HCE are proud of all their employees, management and Board of Directors for their commitment and effort to continually promote a culture of safety, the company said in a press release.       

  Triangle Communications provides local telephone service to more than 17,000 access lines in 39 exchanges located in 16 counties. The mission at Triangle is to deliver technology solutions that break boundaries, create opportunities and build connections. The vision is to inspire endless possibilities anytime, anywhere.

Hill County Electric Cooperative was incorporated in 1945 and provides high-quality, reliable and safe electric services and associated products to 2,330 members over 3,111 miles of line in five north-central Montana counties. HCE is headquartered in Havre and also provides master electrician services, an electrical supply warehouse, energy audits, electrical safety demonstrations and various scholarship and youth programs.
