Marie Hollingshead, 89, passed away of natural causes Monday, Sept. 19, 2016, at the Northern Montana Care Center.
Cremation has taken place, and memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016, at Fifth Avenue Christian Church with Pastor Frank Donato officiating.
Memorials may be made in Marie's name to Blankie Blessings, c/o Fifth Avenue Christian Church, or to the charity of donor's choice.

Marie was born Dec. 16, 1926, in Havre, Montana, to Harvey and Winifred (Robinson) Blair. She was raised in Havre, attending school there, and graduated in 1945. Following her school years, Marie married Robert "Bob" Hollingshead Aug. 3, 1951, and the couple had one son. For many years, Marie worked for the U.S. government Farm Services Division. Following her government work, Marie worked as a bookkeeper for realtors, first for Witt Realty and then for Northern Land Realty. She retired at the age of 75.
Marie enjoyed watching "The Lawrence Welk Show," "The Waltons" and "Bonanza." She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her great-grandson Paxton was the light of her life.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob Hollingshead; her parents, Harvey and Winifred Blair; and her sister-in-law Mary Blair.
Marie is survived by her son Doug (Darlene) Hollingshead of Havre; her grandchildren Kristi (Christian) Lehnert of Chinook, and Tara (Alden Moyer) Hollingshead of Havre; her great-grandchildren Paxton and Brynlee Lenhert; her sister Helen Brazil of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; her brother Les Blair of Havre; and numerous nieces and nephews.
