Isaac Warp, Havre High Football
After an injury-riddled junior season, Havre High’s Isaac Warp made his first game of his senior year in Blue Pony Stadium a memorable one. Warp caught the game-winning touchdown from Trey Murphy in Havre’s 13-12 comeback victory over Miles City last Friday night. And overall, he was everywhere. He caught five passes for 95 yards, while totaling one interception and key tackles on defense, as he’s a two-starter this season for the Ponies.
Kelsey Mathon, Chinook Volleyball
The Chinook volleyball team is picking up right where it left off a year ago by dominating the opposition. And senior Kelsey Mathon is a big reason the Sugarbeeters are on such a roll. In wins over Malta and North Star last week, Mathon averaged seven kills and 18 assists per match, and, overall, she’s led Chinook in both categories four different times this season. Mathon also stars in basketball and track and field for the Beeters.
