Crafters, artisans and commercial vendors will gather at the Holiday Village Mall for Festival Days. The show opens Saturday at 10 a.m. and continues till 6 p.m. and reopens Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
A variety of arts and crafts will adorn the tables at this year’s Festival of Arts and Crafts show, giving shoppers a variety of homemade items to select from during the two-day event. The show has been part of Festival Days for 33 years and it is shaping up to be another good show with vendors from the Hi-Line and across the state, the Havre Area Chamber of Commerce said in a press release.
People at the craft show will see jewelry, quilts, blankets, pottery, wood crafts, dried floral arrangements, soaps scrub and candles to name a few items being shown.
Under the commercial banner, vendors will display educational books, knives and swords, artwork, jams and jellies.
It is a fun time to get some holiday gift ideas, the Chamber release says.

Historian to donate part of tour proceeds to
traffic box wraps
A local historian has invited people to discover Havre’s hidden gems during Festival Days, explore unknown Havre history and help two worthy causes to beautify the town and preserve its heritage.
For every visitor during Festival Days weekend who is wearing a Festival Days button and takes a tour of the High Line Heritage House Museum, Historic Havre Strolls or History Among the Headstones tours, one dollar will be donated to the Havre Main Street Committee to be used for the creation and installation of vinyl wraps for traffic control boxes throughout town.
“The traffic control box vinyl wraps is a wonderful project spearheaded by some very dedicated Havreites to beautify our town,” said Emily Mayer, owner of High Line Heritage Resources. “Contributing to this worthwhile project is a way of giving back to the community that has given so much to me.”
The remaining funds will go toward preservation projects and operation of the High Line Heritage House Museum. Foundation stabilization is the first of many goals to restore the historic John F. Mathews home to its former glory, followed by a new coat of exterior paint in autumnal colors and a new roof.
The High Line Heritage House Museum is open special hours this Festival Days weekend. This work-in-progress historic treasure will be open for tours Friday from 1 to 5 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday noon to 4 p.m.
