Lewis Heating & A/C held an open house last Thursday to mark the grand opening of their new location and the addition of a fireplace showroom.
The Havre Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors were present for a ribbon cutting late in the day. Visitors were taken on a tour of the new showroom, where indoor and outdoor fireplaces as well as pellet, wood and gas burning stoves are displayed and can be purchased by customers.
Shaylee Lewis and her husband, Tom, own the company. She said they started the their business in 2014, but though they did sell some fireplaces, they are just now debuting as a wholesaler.
Lewis said they provide installment and repair services in commercial refrigeration, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and sheet metal fabrication.
Lewis said they initially ran Lewis Heating & A/C out of their house. It became so successful that last summer, Lewis quit her job as a special education teacher at Havre High School to concentrate on running the business,
In March they moved into their location at 1988 second St. West.
Hours of operation for Lewis Heating & A/C are 8 a.m to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and through appointments.
Lewis said that they also provide 24-hour emergency repair services for heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
She said Lewis Heating & A/C is also in the process of creating a new website http://www.lewisheatingHVAC.com.
