Booster Club again hosting Blue/White Games

The Blue Pony Booster Club will again help kick off the 2016 Havre High sports season with the annual Blue/White Day this Saturday. The day starts with the Blue/White volleyball scrimmage at 2 p.m. at the HHS gymnasium, while the Blue/White football game starts at 5:30 p.m. at Blue Pony Stadium. The booster club's annual barbecue and membership drive will also start at 5:30 p.m. For any questions, contact Stacy Rismon at 262-4519.

Signup for Little Blue Pony Football

The signup day for 2016 Little Blue Pony Football will be Aug. 28. The event will take place at the Havre High School track out by the blue shed. Sixth grade will register at 3 p.m., fifth grade at 4 p.m. and fourth grade at 5 p.m. Cost is $80 per player.

HMS sports set to begin

Havre Middle School will begin seventh- and eighth-grade football and seventh- and eighth-grade girls basketball practice Monday. Football practice will begin at 4 p.m. seventh-grade girls basketball will run 9 to 10:30 a.m. and the eighth-grade practice from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Cross country and cheerleading will begin Aug. 31, right after school. Student-athletes are reminded that they must have a completed sports physical and concussion form before they can participate.

HDN seeking fall sports information

The Havre Daily News would like to remind all area high school coaches and athletic directors that we are putting together our area fall sports preview for 2016, and any extra information, including numerical rosters and schedules should be sent in to [email protected]. We would also like to remind coaches and ADs to please send in all game results immediately following all competitions.
