David Perez of Havre, 41, was arrested for charges of driving under the influence, driving without insurance and driving without a driver’s license after a caller from First Street reported Wednesday at 11:58 p.m. that a man caused a disturbance and drove off in a car with a fake license plate.

Officers issued five summonses this morning after a Washington Avenue caller reported at 2:27 that a “couple kids” were under the swing set at the south end of the Highland Park school playground.

Fire crews responded to a fire call on the 300 Block of 13th Street West Wednesday at 11:15 a.m. The school had been testing alarms and the fire department was not notified. No further action was necessary.
Animal Shelter
The animal shelter held, as of Wednesday, a tan and white pitbull and a husky-heeler mix dog.
