Officers made two arrests after a 2nd Street caller reported Wednesday at 7:09 a.m. that she woke up to two unknown females taking things from the refrigerator. Vickie Gail Cochran, 47, of Havre was arrested on charges of theft from buildings and residential burglary, and Mavis Lynn Cochran, 48, of Havre was arrested on charges of theft from buildings and probation violation.

Officers investigated a complaint after a 1st Street West business caller reported Wednesday at 8:50 a.m. that a man in the lobby was yelling and threatening clerks.

Officers investigated a motor vehicle crash on College Road West Wednesday at 11:07 a.m. that involved a transport bus.

Samuel Clearance Wells, 59, of Havre was arrested on a criminal trespass to property charge after a 1st Avenue caller reported Wednesday at 12:27 p.m. that a man tried to enter the neighbor’s house.

Officers investigated a suspicious activity report after a 1st Street Northeast caller reported Wednesday at 1:07 p.m. that people entered the apartment through the window.

A 17-year-old juvenile was issued a summons for shoplifting and underage possession or consumption of tobacco after a 1st Street West business caller reported Wednesday at 8:25 p.m. a theft.

Officers investigated a theft or forgery report after a 1st Street West business caller reported Wednesday at 8:25 p.m. a theft.

Officers investigated a disturbance report after a 1st Street West business caller reported this morning at 12:52 that a man was harassing people.

Births

A girl was born Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016, to Shayne and Michaela Boushey of Havre.

Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held Tuesday a tan and white pitbull, a white and tan husky heeler and a black Labrador-spaniel mix. Cats available are a feral black and tan kitten, a feral gray cat and a gray and white domestic kitten, as well as a white, domestic rabbit.
