Havre man drowns in Fresno Reservoir

The Hill County Sheriff’s office confirmed today that the body of a 19-year-old Havre man was recovered from Fresno Reservoir after people called 911 Monday at 2:21 p.m. to report a friend had gone under water and had not surfaced.

Hill County Search and Rescue divers found the body at 4:32 p.m., the sheriff’s office said in a press release.

The name of the victim had not been released this afternoon pending notification of relatives.

No foul play is suspected, the release said.
